The Special Events Technician Level 2 position is a pooled position and applications will be reviewed on an as needed, on-going basis.

As a Classified Part-Time Special Events Technician Level 2, you will assist with achieving our vision of providing meeting spaces that foster a safe and comfortable environment to gather and exchange ideas. We specialize in making our client’s vision a reality.

QUALIFICATIONS
  • Must have a minimum of 2 years experience operating a professional level lighting system, including programming/patching of stage lighting plots
  • Must have professional experience with repairing theater lighting instruments.
  • Must have working experience/knowledge of focusing, gelling, and patching of hanging theater lighting systems
  • Must have a working knowledge & experience operating a professional level audio system, including the ability to set-up customer provided audio stage plots/technical riders, working experience with set-up and operating of multiple monitor mixes, ability/experience to "mix" multiple set-ups for a variety of venues.
  • Demonstrated sensitivity and experience working with students and/or individuals from diverse social, economic, ethnic, academic, and cultural backgrounds required.
