Policy Services Specialist

The Illinois Association of School Boards (IASB) is seeking applicants for a full-time Policy Services Specialist in IASB’s Springfield office. This position reports to the Associate Executive Director, Policy Services. 

Position Summary: The Policy Services Specialist position is responsible for initiating and performing functions required for the efficient operation of the office and to support the policy services team in providing existing and new services to IASB members. 

Education and or Experience Requirements: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, and/or evidence of administrative professional experience. Applicants should have a high-level of experience with Microsoft Word and web-based HTML word processing applications. 

This position requires the employee to be able to lift, move, and safely handle boxes and materials up to 25 pounds; repetitive motion of the wrists, hands, and/or fingers; and to be able to see, hear, and speak as necessary to perform the functions of the position.
