The successful candidate will be responsible for creating and leading technical training programs that not only enhance the skills and knowledge of our workforce but also enable them to acquire state licenses in the water sector, ensuring compliance with industry standards and state regulations. This role demands a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of workforce development in the water and wastewater sector.PRIMARY DUTIES / RESPONSIBILITIES:<ul><li>Training Program Development: Design, develop, and implement comprehensive technical training programs tailored to the needs of our workforce, focusing on water and wastewater management processes and technologies.</li><li>Resource Integration: Identify and integrate high-quality external resources, ensuring all materials are used in compliance with copyright laws.</li><li>Instructional Design: Utilize instructional design principles to create engaging and effective training materials and courses. Experience with e-learning platforms and digital training tools is highly desirable.</li><li>Stakeholder Engagement: Establish and maintain strong relationships with state licensing regulators, industry associations, and other key stakeholders to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and to stay updated with industry trends.</li><li>Workforce Development Strategy: Collaborate with operational leaders and HR to assess training needs and develop a strategic workforce development plan that aligns with the company’s goals and industry standards.</li><li>Evaluation and Improvement: Implement evaluation processes to measure the effectiveness of training programs.
