Graduate Assistant - Marketing & Communications

SUMMARY OF DUTIES: The Graduate Assistant (GA)–ASC Communications position supports the Academic Support Services area of the Academic Success Center. The GA plays an essential role in the operations of subject tutoring, writing support services, academic coaching, and success workshop programs. The GA promotes these services through coordination, training, marketing, and program monitoring. The position(s) enables the ASC to sustain tutoring operations and writing support for over 60 hours per week including evenings and weekends through the fall, winter, spring, and summer semesters. The responsibilities listed below are shared between two Graduate Assistants in order to provide continuous and consistent support.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:1. Help organize and oversee the Academic Success Center by coordinating the weekly schedules of 30-35 tutors and delegating tutor productivity tasks.2. Tutor students in person and online in:a. Assistant Dance Coach

Job Summary:&nbsp;The Assistant Cheer Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach in providing ethical leadership in managing all aspects of the Cheer program including, but not limited to, fostering a positive team environment, recruitment and retention of academically and athletically qualified student-athletes and preparing student-athletes for success through planning, strategy development, and skill instruction.
